Oligarchy is bad people.
We need more Jon Ossoffs in the Democratic Party.

This is just fantastic.

"My signs, in contrast, would expressly not disrespect the office. They would disrespect the man."
Dissent is Patriotic.
Effective Dissent makes a movement.
What they should have done with those little signs is mock Trump: “Stormy Daniels Says Hi.” “E. Jean Carroll Wants Her Money.” “Convicted Felon.” “43 Counts.” “2029 = Prison.”

He doesn’t care about lies or Medicaid. He cares about his vanity.
Humor Is Vital to Effective Protest, and the Democrats Suck at It
The party’s attempts at public spectacle are weak and joyless—and they’re earning the wrong kind of attention.

The greatest business battle EVER to be fought will come when President Elon starts trying to implement AI for federal processes.

The battle will be fought over which company’s AI will be used by the feds.

This is a zero sum battle that will create more chaos than this country has ever seen

I cannot overstate how important it is that @hcrichardson.bsky.social is now making a clear distinction between Trump and Trump’s social media accounts.

One is a conman. One is that conman’s propaganda tool. They should be reported as such. Latest ⬇️:

Late last night, the White House said in a statement that “President Biden and his team are closely monitoring the extraordinary events in Syria and staying in constant touch with regional partners.”

OHai!
Under 1w on BSky but I'm liking the vibe. I admit I can be a bit of a troglodyte in some cases and this feels much more familiar.
And thisbyhread helped me understand some of the common practices.
Note: discourse and mastodon have their place, but I like the Town Square feel of this platform.
It appears that on this platform, reacting/loving a post gives the writer/creator/author feedback and dopamine (yay!), but the only thing that helps other people see it is sharing.

Some of us came from platforms where reactions increased reach. Seems like that's a nope here. Shares increase reach.
