Yeah, I think the main reason aave is appropriated so heavily is due to its English roots, making it more accessible and easier to adopt for non-Black people

I believe if aave was creolized it would be harder to colonize

Those benefitting from injustice tend to be blind to it, willfully or not, until it infringes upon their own status quo or sense of normalcy

Minorities & the poor know about "rules for thee not for me" since forever, because they've lived with the boot stomping on em since forever

Black America cannot fix the insecurities of non white immigrants who hate themselves and hate that they cannot assimilate fully into White American culture. We are all we have.
