4/ CBD reduces CA3 input, leading to more EC-driven ripples and fewer long/complex sharp-wave ripples. This suggests a selective dampening of intra-hippocampal replay mechanisms.

3/ CA3-driven ripples are tightly coupled with sharp waves, forming long, structured events. Meanwhile, EC-driven ripples occur independently and align with cortical upstates.
