Traditionally, “ally” refers to cisgender, straight people who support LGBTQ+ rights. But allyship is a verb, not a noun — it’s about what you DO, not who you are.

The real work of allyship is a constant process of listening, learning, and growing throughout your lifetime.

Tomorrow, we’ll say goodbye to LGBTQ+ Pride Month. 😢It’s always a bittersweet day, but this year, with so much rising hate, it’s been particularly special to spend so much time in connection, community, and celebration.

Today marks nine years since the horrific mass shooting during Latin Night at Pulse, an inclusive LGBTQ+ nightclub in Orlando. We hold the 49 who died, the dozens injured, and their loved ones in our hearts today, and we send a special message of love and solidarity to our Florida affiliates. 🩷
