I use dishwasher tabs that aren't encased in PVA. I stopped using laundry sheets as well because of the PVA uncertainty. I use a concentrated laundry powder that comes in a compostable bag. Canadian products, to boot

I think a great deal needs to be done in the area of repairing, especially with appliances. Both my stove and my fridge died at the 20-year mark and I was told that repairing them was not a viable option. When it's cheaper to buy a new product rather than repair it, something is very wrong.

Also something I've been doing, which saved my tofu during the lock out. I use a Canadian cloud provider, so I have more faith in the security of the content.
