Quick sketch practice while watching a community theater production of To Kill a Mockingbird. Photography not allowed during a show, but there are no rules against sketching! Mechanical pencil (No. 2B lead, 0.5mm) in 3" x 4" travel journal, acid-free 74# paper.

Just got the email that my offer of another season of being an interpretive Ranger in the great Smoky Mountains. National Park has been rescinded due to a hiring freeze. I am terrified for the future of our park system.
