9. Really curious about Tony. He recognizes that he’s cooked if there’s a women’s alliance, but I’m curious where he’ll look for the crack. Does he try to work with Lisa/Cirie or does he try to pull over Parvati or Kass individually? If he makes merge, he may be necessarily pushed to work w/ AU.

8. As big of players as Rob Bentele and David Genat are said to be, I’m not upset at all that they’re both off the table. I love that this game feels like so many different people still could win, and I think that both Parvati and George have shown themselves to be much more dynamic players.

7. Is it possible for there to be TWO women’s alliances crashing into each other at merge? If so, Luke and Tony could end up in very interesting spots between the two factions. I don’t see George making it much farther and Tommi might be confined to be an attendant lord this game.

5 (cont.) In a game of runny, fluid dynamics, the most powerful thing is a solid alliance. Sarah tying herself to Kirby is smart because she’ll never be the target before Kirby.

6. New purple player: Tommi. Is it just me, or did he give literally nothing in strategy talks?

4. George continues to be a lovable mess. Outs Kirby for seemingly no reason, then is the only person completely out of the loop at tribal and gets saved anyways by the best new Women’s Alliance since maybe ever?

5. SARAH is actually on this season and I love what she is doing.

3. Kirby’s game this episode in one interaction:

DAVID: We’re solid, right?

KIRBY: Whatever you think.

🤯🤯🤯

It’s insane how everyone thought they had Kirby on their side at some point this episode. Her not having watched Survivor is somehow to her benefit??? I’m ready to pledge loyalty forever.

12. Locking in Shonee as my First-Impression winner pick. I’ve never seen her seasons, but she gives big main character energy and she seems to be socially savvy enough to avoid the ticking time bomb that is George and charismatic enough to unify a movement against the likes of David and Luke

10. Respect to @shannongaitz.bsky.social, who basically clocked every relationship before the season started! Absolutely won’t be missing any of her podcast coverage of this already-legendary season.

11. Tony had a quiet first episode. This is fantastic for his longevity in the game.

9. But seriously, where are Janine and Sarah? I think I saw them at the challenges, but are they actually in the game? It seems like it’s going to be a tall order for either of them or the non-US World tribe to build their profile enough to be taken seriously at a Final Tribal Council.

8. Speaking of Lisa, her emotions at playing with Cirie were very touching. This season is such a cool opportunity to watch super fans who became Survivor players in their own right interact with the players who inspired them. I hope we get to see more from Tommy as well in this regard.

7. She may have won the battle against Rob, but it’s hard for me to see Parvati making it super far if The World is smart. It’s too dangerous to keep someone who is connected already to the Australia tribe. Assuming a Merge doesn’t happen immediately, I think Lisa definitely needs to get rid of Parv

4. I haven’t seen any of his seasons, but I’m already obsessed with George. I think he’s hilarious and I hope he finds a way to stick around because he’s already in a really deep hole.

5. KIRBY & SHONEE

6. I forget how purple some players are on #SurvivorAU, even when it’s an All-Star season

3. Rob learned the hard way that coming in with strategy based primarily on demographics is a terrible way to play Survivor if everyone knows what they’re doing. Relationships are king in Survivor, and he burned the only potentially good one he had immediately.

As a Christian and Southern Baptist attendee, I find the Southern Baptist Convention’s call extremely disappointing.

Even if homosexuality was inherently sinful (it’s not), the Church has no responsibility to call for the State to uphold its morals. It really is a “mind your own business” issue.
