Today crews from East Ham (F44), white watch attended the London Stadium and mingled with fans from both West Ham and Liverpool collecting money for the Firefighters Charity raising over £700. Thank you for the support.

This Firefighters' Memorial Day, we remember all of those who have lost their lives while serving for London Fire Brigade, and other fire and rescue services.

We remember them, and thank them for their service.

Yesterday, we were delighted to support all of the runners in the London Marathon, including the 22 members of staff running for LFB. We would like to say a huge well done to all of our runners, and everyone else who ran, supported and organised the brilliant event.

There will be a programme of speeches, dancing by local groups and schools and a colour throw party in the yard.

This week, we hosted a Community Iftar event, alongside Muslim Newham Forum, to celebrate Ramadan at Plaistow Fire Station. The event brought together the local community. Attendees then broke their fast with dates and water, followed by communal prayers and dinner. Thank you to Muslim Newham Forum.
