Slightly trickier one this week.

[Clue: the answer to this was revealed in "Weir All Going On A Summer Holiday (1979), the episode where a school trip takes a wrong turn and the whole class ends up almost drowning in a haunted river.]

We know, this was an easy one!
Leyline High Rewind. Answer: It was, if course, Mavis the dinnerlady who was eaten by the Corn Cob monster. After years of serving up lumpy mashed potato, Mavis got her just desserts in this Harvest Festival episode which terrified viewers up and down the country. Especially the bit where her head came off and dropped in the custard.

Susan reminds us of "Be Careful What You Fish For" (1993). A classic terrifying episode of Leyline High. The week after it was broadcast, kids up and down the country refused to go to swimming lessons. 🐠

Do you remember the episode "On Your Own Time" (1989)? The next day, kids in playgrounds up & down the country were walking in slow motion & wouldn't stop. It became quite a problem. There were special assemblies about it and everything.

We find it very hard to believe people haven’t heard of Leyline High. If you really think about it, we’re pretty sure you’ll remember it.

Who could forget the episode where the class hamster is revealed to be a shapeshifting cryptid? Everyone remembers how it grew to 9ft tall & ate 3 teachers.🐹
