If you figure that for all of congress including house reps, it's still wildly lopsided.

California has 52 reps + 2 senators

Wyoming 1 rep + 2 senators

CA has ~40 mill people. WY has ~ 590k.

WY citizen has almost 4x the representation in congress than a CA citizen.

The senate dramatically and disproportionately gives power to tiny states, severely diminishing the power of citizens in larger states on the national level. A Wyoming citizen has 68x more representation in the senate than one from California, proportionally.

We desperately need fundamental reform of the electoral system over here. Ranked choice voting or *actual* proportional representation of some kind would be one step in the right direction. The US senate and the electoral college are undemocratic, full stop.
