The Studio on Apple+ is so well written. It's nailing the satire comedy and features so many amazing actors. Catherine O'Hara the woman you are.

The argument of innie versus outie Mark is reverse Tuvix. We've been having this argument since 1996. Voyager ahead of the game again.

I'm on a streak of reading right now for no reason. I expect I'll slow down at some point. 11 books this year so far. Reading 2 right now.

I have finished Empire of Storms and I'm still convinced the reason people like these books is because the tandem read masks the pacing (bad).

I want to sing my praises of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. It was a beautiful game that worked out of the box. The voice acting was incredible. The combat and level up mechanics were so fun. And it has one of my favorite loot systems I've ever seen.

I've decided to pick a vibe for the year. This year the vibe is to be a menace. I assume this will backfire on me.

It's Monday. We aren't going to let it own us today. Grab some coffee. Speak good things into the universe. (This is mostly for me)

What are your happy jams you listen to when you need to do dishes or just pick me up? The Mountain Song by Tophouse is on my list.

Here is something I just read and I think we could all use it. This is from Us Deadly Few by Alexis Patton. #booksky

People were screaming about how the government wasn't helping Asheville (they were, NC government was blocking aid). Who will they blame now?
Trump is considering abolishing FEMA and forcing states to deal with natural disasters.

“I’d rather see the states take care of their own problems,” he said.

I wonder how Florida, Texas, Louisiana, North Carolina & South Carolina feel about “taking care of their own problems” without federal help.

Somebody yelled at me for posting about Ganymede instead of /the state of things/ last night.

I know we’re (almost) all on the same page here, but a Bluesky without cute cats, science facts, and dumb jokes would be bad for everyone.

I'm so mad knowing that people didn't know in September that the mountains near Big Bear burned twice the size of the Palisades. I was on evac watch for 2 weeks. Almost 40k acres burned. From arson.

It took me so long how to remove my Facebook account just now. I'm so frustrated by this. Now to untangle from Instagram somehow.

In case you're wondering, I've never met an immigrant in my life. No idea what that is. Can't help you.

I live in zone 7a. I just saw these dormant plants come in at a brand new tractor supply and I cannot wait to get started! I already have lilac in my yard. #gardening

My copy of Onyx Storm won't be here for a few days so I'm cruising through the first two books while I wait. It feels like now that Yarros just broadcasts her foreshadowing very loudly.

I have a controversial theory for Fourth Wing but I'm not even sure where to start. #booksky #fourthwing

I don't think books need to be "good" for you to enjoy them. I've read all of ACOTAR. I love Twilight. I don't think they're good; they're popcorn books and that fill a spot on my bookshelf as something fun to read.

When that hopeless feeling kicks in, remember that you are most effective in your sphere of influence even if that is small. Build communities, make local changes, be outspoken, and be kind.
