Manon Rhéaume is a Canadian female who was the only woman to play in the NHL. She played on boys and mens hockey teams where she was gendered discriminated by boys and men, since hockey is a male dominated sport. She proved that her and other girls can play in a mens hockey league.

Angela Chalmers is an aboriginal long distance runner who has competed in the Olympics. In Barcelona, she won the 3000 metres Olympic bronze metal in 1992. She has won other running medals in different events over time. She was the recipient of the National Aboriginal Achievement Award in Sports.

With a full time career I feel like my physical activity, recreation, or sport opportunities will decrease. I feel like I would spend more time working and not have extra time to do as much physical activity. I would still try to do as much as I can to keep active.

This article is an example of the conflict theory because some people are for the changes and others are against them. The ones that are for it, believe it will bring more fans to the games. The ones that are against it, believe it will hurt the game and don't want it to be like the NFL.

I would define a sport as a physical activity with rules that has competition between teams or people where there is a winner or loser. It can improve one's physical skills and is entertainment. For example, running is exercise not a sport but a marathon is since you're competing, and people watch.
