They have to be ragebaiting at this point there's no other explanation

Her last few scenes make it clear she still has issues so I'm sure that will be explored in the next season

I mean tbf I don't think Maria's arc was meant to be completed this season.
Most of her violent impulses were directed specifically at her father so after the catharsis of killing him I think it makes sense for her to calm down a bit and more or less go back to normal temporarily+

This part is great because on the surface it looks like just a cool moment of Sonic going all-out like a shonen protagonist, but it's actually framed more like a reversal of his usual interactions with Eggman.

This time Eggman is the one getting under Sonic's skin and making him desperate

So far yeah, though knowing that it's ending soon i'm not sure if all the plotlines can get a satisfying conclusion

i've only just finished the phase 3 collection, i'm still missing a bit more I think
