The technology is nowhere near ready yet they're putting it into production environments right now which is beyond stupid. The kicker is Intuit is integrating ChatGPT into TurboTax. If Grok can't do basic finances with the data fed to it... I doubt ChatGPT can.

Yup. AI has enormous potential but it's not ready for prime time yet. I gave Grok 4 years of credit card statements to build a table of every transaction and payment made on the card. It got most of the transactions, faked few even so any data I give it requires a full manual review.

The only adult content that should be banned on a social media platform that claims to be about free expression is anything blatantly illegal like real life depictions of rape, kiddie porn and bestiality. Real people and animals are the only ones that should be protected like this.

Makes sense but given those platforms have a monopoly in those ecosystems I still find it absurd. Fictional characters should not be treated as real people but too many in this fandom have allowed that to be the case thus the slippery slope I warned of years ago about it.

Indeed. My state of Minnesota literally voted to finally strip away that support to illegals. Mrs Hortman was killed by a former Walz staffer shortly after reluctantly voting with Republicans in our state legislature to end giving Medicaid to adult illegal immigrants.

The states should be funding their own disaster relief, honestly. They use fed funds to fund partisan pet projects. Basically what Europe does with NATO funds. We should insist the states start banking away their own money to pay for their own disaster relief.

I dunno. Jeremy from The Quartering keeps mentioning he was banned instantly after creating an account and just saying hello. He broke no rules, yet was banned. Of course a huge chunk of your user base approves of it but still... kinda proves breaking a rule isn't required for ban.

Weird stretch to mix business and politics the way you two have. However, if you wanted to keep that level of control you shouldn't have sold the company. Agreements change and a big part of why you generally shouldn't mix business with politics especially a one-sided version of it.
