The EU won't shoot first....but not out of fear of a "conventional" war. In a shooting war NATO will go after Russia's logistical infrastructure/weapons manufacturing. Then destroy oil refineries and sink ALL Russian merchant shipping. Putin may be crazy enough to actually consider Nukes....

Maybe social media has worked as some kind of intangible and unmeasurable outlet that allows angry and marginalized individuals some means of expression….at least enough for downward decline in violent crime.

Any LEO that carries a gun, both at work and off-duty, carries that gun for self-protection. The gun proves they ALL exercise some level of fear....that goes with the job. If they can't handle that...QUIT... and go work as a Walmart Greeter etc.......
