"Frost flowers" from yesterday morning. A quick freeze after warmer days freezes the fluids in plant stalks that crystalize and expand through cracks.

I heard a cacophony from a flock of crows and knew they were onto a Great-horned Owl. It was keeping a close eye on the crows and suddenly turned me as if to say, "oh, don't worry I see you too". (cropped Nikon p950 at distance)

Two of the ten species of sparrows I saw yesterday: Vesper and American Tree Sparrows. Storms rolled in preventing me from hitting 13 species in one morning.

Found the lid of the feeder at work open so decided to check the feeder cam. This was the last photo. I now need to put out a trail camera to see how she is getting past the baffle.

I think the Stilt Sandpiper is underrated but I still think I'd go for Avocet over any other if I got a notification for one close by.
