and yes it should use caller ID really, but I couldn't figure how to make hylafax give me the ID details in the limited time I had before it's first deployment at EMF Camp, and I never got around to fixing that 😅

I recently bought one of these from aliexpress, and the more I look at it, the more I realise just how cursed it appears to be when you don't have the context of what it is used for. IYKYK

A PCI card that has two RJ45 connectors (but it is not a network interface card), a DVI connector for input (as you'd expect to find on a digital PC monitor), and a USB type B port (as you would expect to find on a printer, for example). It also has some internal connections, including a pair of screw terminals, and a full size molex power connector, as used for older CD drives and hard disk drives.

I think I've found the most scuffed online takeaway order menu.

I want a quantum salad with souce, and I'll have the extra chips that come with a discount.

An online food ordering app displaying the page for customising a "Salad in pita". It requires that you pick some items from the list, which contains: Salad, No salad, No souce [sic], Chilli. Both "Salad" and "No salad" are selected.

The same app, this time showing the options for chips. Small costs an extra £3.20 on top of the base price of £3.70. Large costs an extra £2.00, making it the cheaper option. Large is selected for a total price of £5.70

didn't really want my company name listed on my conference badge, so I printed a comically large pronoun sticker to cover it over.

had to put it somewhere, and they didn't provide a field for pronouns during registration

This was the intended diversion route. A607 to Melton Mowbray, A606 to Stamford.

I had a chat on the phone with some from National Highways who clarified "you should be following the unfilled diamond symbol route" but the signage started with the filled circle symbol.

yesterday I followed a signposted diversion route around a carriageway closure on the south bound A1 near Grantham.

This is the route they signposted. It's a circle. I thought I'd misread the signs, but nope. I went around this circle twice, the signage was just wrong.
