It is a precursor to invoking the Insurrection Act. Slate had an interview with Steve Vladeck that explains why absence of local/state law enforcement is vital to the process. slate.com/news-and-pol...
There’s a Key Reason Why Trump Hasn’t Invoked the Insurrection Act Yet
The president’s position is an extraordinary threat to free speech and state sovereignty.

Psychotic Hulk wants Greenland, psychotic Hulk smashes Europe. Makes sense to Trump.

I have seen that some liberal news sites have severed ties and wondered why. What is the source about the possibility of Epstein info?

Trump should proofread these gems. Our for are.

As a proud Danish American, I will fight for the Danish homeland if they are willing to give me (and my family) citizenship and get us out of this shithole country. My family no longer speak Danish, but we did retained Danish culinary arts relating to deserts.

Yuck. Low class Lucas attacking fellow Democrats. How is this helpful, Ms. Lucas?

I saw a social media account that linked to an Amazon wish list to donate dashboard cameras and flash drives. It sounds like a good idea, but I don't want to get scammed. Are you aware of any legitimate organizations that are giving out dashboard cameras?

Yes, please, especially if the nice Canadian placeholder gives our citizens universal healthcare. Hell, I am pretty sick of being American, maybe just annex us.

Ben Sasse? The guy who got a cushy college presidency, and then spent money like water on expensive parties and hired his friends for no work jobs with huge salaries? That guy was the Republicans' great hope? There are no decent people in the Republican party, just fascist grifters.

I noticed that, too, and thought maybe I was just more Grinch aware this year. I saw a house that had seven inflatable Grinches (or should that be Grinchi?). I counted them because I was so astonished. Where I live, many front yards have a Grinch inflatable.

The news also reported that the Trump battleships will comprise the "Golden Fleet". I think I would like to try another world now, since this one has jumped the shark. Hopefully, not the world with the crab monstrosities on the beach. But I am getting less picky by the day.

I keep thinking of that Presumed Innocent scene with Raul Julia and Harrison Ford discussing with great relish how the defense lawyer got the cross of a lifetime.

Did you try the fudge or jerky? Best things at Bu-cee's, besides the bathrooms.

Tim has free health care from his employer. He is sleeping like a baby that can afford to get sick.

The Democrats aren't doing anything, except surrendering. Stop with the endless stream of "we are fight for you" BS.
November 10, 2025 at 4:43 AM
Tim Kaine, you are a surrender monkey and a weasel. The Democrats have caved and received nothing in exchange. Please don't run for reelection (a principled man would resign). Virginia citizens deserve better than you. Sincerely, a VA voter.

Obamacare/ACA was the Democrats' singular health policy in decades. It isn't perfect, but it does provide healthcare to more than 20 million people. And several Democrats are going to burn it down in a late night Sunday vote, rather than grow a spine and stand firm. What a debacle.
November 10, 2025 at 12:25 AM
Democrats are surrender monkeys. They only know how to get screwed by Republicans. Unfortunately, we citizens are along for the ride and have to endure the debasement. I bet those traitorous Democrats don't want to experience long airport delays when they return home for the holidays.

I have a FSA. At the end of each year, I spend a lot of time working on reimbursement. Some years I have big health bills early (ER/major dental work/need for special medical tests). Easy. Other years, you have to find every receipt for tiny expenses, such as sunscreen. A FSA is my idea of hell.

I just saw an article that Portsmouth, Va (and surrounding cities) have signed a contract for an AI-robot garbage system starting in 2029. You put everything in one can, recyclables, yard waste, etc. and the robots will separate everything out and create bio-char for sale. What BS.

I miss having a strong and dignified woman in the WH.
November 3, 2025 at 7:36 PM
I voted for you, but I really dislike you. I don't want to use the word hate. Lucky for you, your opponent is a fascist and I held my nose. You aren't qualified and have used your family connections to get political office. If you win, which is a big if due to your bad behavior, please resign.

I had a dentist who stopped wearing his mask while working on our teeth after Covid. It was so bizarre. His hygienist looked like she was going into the Ebola hot zone with mask and face shield while cleaning my teeth. So we got a new dentist. I would have loved to keep seeing the hygienist.
