The amount of content coming out of MTG is not unusual for a digital TCG. Most competitive games these days run 6-8 week content cycles. I think what makes MTG unusual is the way it straddles the line between digital and physical.

No, if you go in the trade menu and look at the detailed rules it explains it in a bit more detail. But basically it boils down to max of ⭐️ rarity, no promos and no Spacetime Smackdown.
The next set is supposed to launch at the end of Feb. They might unlock trading for Spacetime then.

You can’t take notes whilst looking at the list, but can make notes as soon as the game starts. You might find it useful jotting down interaction and can check back when you suspect they are holding something up.

I feel like this can’t be real. I’m a big believer in buying singles over cracking packs, but at $18k surely the odds are much better than 1 in 4500? That’s before even trying to calculate reinvesting the stuff you open.

The lead designer is Chris Mooney who said on Twitter this was their number 1 dream IP to work on and their Childhood passion. Chris is a very vocal Avatar fan to the extent they run their own ATLA D&D group. It’s a safe bet I think.
