I won't deny it's a great game! But people saying its NEW and "saving" the genre are insane. It's genuinely a love letter to RPG giants of the past (DQXI, FFX, the parry system was literally inspired by Mario&Luigi) and thats why *I* love it personally

Ehh there's a few I feel like got a lot of sauce like witch and sorcerer, but overall yeah I can agree to that. It's nice to see martials get some love though, especially after having been subjected to dnd5e

1e's hard to return to sometimes even though it was my first system and the one I've played the longest,, there's def some things I miss about it like oracle, druid, and wizard's vibes all def feel worse even if I like the package of 2e more
