Drivers held a rally in Sacramento today, celebrating ahead of the expected passage of AB 1340.

U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson opened his speech by calling for a moment of silence for the Democratic Minnesota lawmakers who were shot, one of whom killed, earlier today.

Officials who spoke include Bella Ramos, Napa County supervisor. She said an America without immigrants would be “unrecognizable.”

There were at least a couple of thousand people at the No Kings protest in Napa today.
