I’m Currently reading “Dowry of a Single Galleon” and these characters seem extremely ooc, but it was published first in 2004, so we see them immediately after the end of OOTP.

I love seeing how Draco could have grown and evolved if he was never a DeathEater, through the perspective of a writer that wrote their story before Death Eater!Draco was canon.

How could they have bonded if Draco and Hermione didn’t suffer through the torture at Malfoy Manor?

Similarly, Draco dropping War Lore on her parents when they’re assholes to H about their memory.

I just know he would be like “I know it sucks but you have no idea what you could have been faced with” & then he would playback some of the Malfoy Manor Highlight Reels

Neville is one of the few of his that never deserved it, and it was 100% one sided bullying instead of a rivalry
