This is a problem w/ deckbuilders. Lots of skills carry over so if you are, say, a Max difficulty Slay the Spire player most normal modes will be trivial. Yet often harder characters, difficulties and cards are gated by a progression system that forces you to play tens of standard difficulty runs.
