Today we recognize the birthday of our beloved, deeply respected, and sorely missed Elise Bean. She would have been 69 today. One of the great Senate staffers, one of the most important people at the Levin Center, and a person dedicated to facts, bipartisanship, fairness, and hope. Thank you, Elise!
