GF Everything Bagel Scones. Really having fun with this sourdough starter. This was just from the discard after refeeding as I'm trying to find ways to use it instead of toss it when I refeed between big bakes.

Pumpkin Pie Cookies came out ok! Little crackles but they held together (and taste good)

Decided it was time to retire one of the pumpkins. I was tempted to leave it though as it made me laugh all week.

GF test bread done! Still turned out a bit gummy but the outside and edges were perfect. Means I just need to make more for testing oh darn. Used sourdough discard so will try fed starter next time.

(I'm still figuring out the bone broth purchase. I'm thinking chili cuz I also got sour cream randomly... Yet no cilantro...)

I've been enjoying BBQing more and more over the years. For some reason it just didn't speak to me until we got our own. Now I'm looking up more and more things I can play with. Yesterday I tried a grilled tri tip with homemade chimi churi and grilled balsamic mushrooms.

Between work chaos, country chaos, house chaos and body chaos the last month. All I have the energy for tonight is some Downton Abbey and Skyrim wood chopping... (And some gin and tonic).

This week's slow cooker is chicken noodle soup. From damndelicious. It says add noodles 30 min before end but I cook my noodles separately since gf noodles dissolve if left in the soup too long. I use chickpea noodles. I also added turmeric and cooked the veggies with the seasoning before adding.
