We tested 4-8 yos in a variation of our Cheng & Kibbe (2022) “memory game”. On some trials, all the to-be-remembered objects were visible at encoding; on others, one of the object’s identities was unknown so its identity had to be inferred by eliminating known alternatives. 3/6
