August in Namibia marks the heart of the dry season, and places to find a drink in Etosha National Park become sparse. As the sun went down this watering hole became a hive of activity. This group of giraffes, as if directed, lined up perfectly & took their turn to have a sip.

While the majority of glaciers are retreating due to global warming, the Perito Moreno Glacier in Southern Argentina is actually increasing in size.
What you miss from the photo is the loud cracks and creeks as if the ice is alive and the noise of thunder as carvings crash into the water.

Hidden waterfalls of Hawaii

Pure untouched wilderness. This whole region in Hawaii has no road/trail access and a helicopter is pretty much the only way to see it and a helicopter with the doors off and a high shutter speed is the only way to photograph it.
