Warum will er die Stahlproduktion und Herstellung von Industriellen Gütern heimholen. Bei Vollbeschäftigung und Dominanz im Digital und Servicebereich. Er braucht Factories um nachher auf Kriegswirtschaft umsteigen zu können. Ich erwarte auch keine Midterms in 2026 mehr.

Für mich machen die meisten Aktionen von Trump sehr viel Sinn. Man muss sie im Kontext eines dritten Weltkrieges betrachten. Wenn man sich ansieht wie Putin sich auf den Ukraine Krieg vorbereitet hat ist das gar nicht so abwegig.

This makes me think about my future here. I once had to overstay my visa as my extension was denied within the last hours. I left and came back on a legal visa again. Now I am targeted by this administration for no good reason.

I get the point that the US could be self sufficient and that in some possible alternate reality the US could capture even more of the value creation than it does right now. But there are smarter ways to get there than severing ties with everyone all at once. A lot of capable people will flee
