They should’ve never been allowed to kill people until they finally hit a white male with a concealed carry permit

(it’s as true and important to point the CC permit out as it is important to point out that he was unarmed when ~10 shots were fired)

At this point I'm starting to think Salo was a documentary

I think it'd be sick if the OCG/TCG added an equivalent to these as another Extra Deck type. The idea of a boss monster that's so good that a single copy takes up 1/5 of your Extra Deck sounds super fun.

I was super let down by Prime 4 in general.

The former ALWAYS wins, yet I'm always convinced THIS TIME I'll finally be able to ignore it

You don't get many moments to do unbothered Metroid exploration and discovery until end-game item cleanup, which is too late for me to care. The game would've been far better had they found a way to make the areas interconnected like previous titles.

All I see when I close my eyes is that desert.

There are no connections between the major areas; backtracking is always done across the large, featureless desert.

The areas themselves aren't BAD, but there's so much emphasis placed on progressing alongside NPCs the first the first go-around that they end up being structured fairly linearly.

I think one of the most frustrating things about this game (really a synthesis of a bunch of issues) is that there were moments where I was genuinely grateful for Myles telling me where to go, because I did not want to backtrack organically across this game's world.

I don't really mind any of the NPCs individually, and they all had moments that made them at least a little bit endearing, but I still hope to never see another Galactic Federation trooper for as long as I live.

- Bike combat hurts my hands
- Sylux is false advertising
- The story and plot have nothing to do with each other
- Almost no real exploration to speak of
- Way too many scripted enemy encounters for a Metroid game
- Made me dislike scanning for the first time
- No feeling of isolation
