Issue With America the Beautiful Pass
I am writing to express my concern regarding the announced design for the 2026 America the Beautiful annual pass, which features portraits of two political figures instead of imagery from public lands. Based on the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA), this appears to conflict with the law that governs how the annual pass is designed. FLREA requires the Department of the Interior and the Department of Agriculture to hold an annual public competition to select an image that will be used on the pass. The purpose of this image is to educate the public about our federal recreational lands and waters. For years, the pass has followed this requirement by featuring scenery and wildlife from our national parks, forests, and refuges. Placing political portraits on the 2026 pass marks a major change. It removes the educational element and replaces it with imagery that does not reflect the landscapes or wildlife the law was written to highlight. It also appears to bypass the public competition process that FLREA mandates. I am asking for your support in ensuring that the 2026 pass complies with the law in both process and purpose. This means confirming that the required public competition was held and that the design chosen reflects the intent of FLREA, which is to celebrate and educate people about America’s natural heritage. Our national parks and public lands should remain nonpartisan spaces, and the annual pass should reflect that. Thank you for your attention to this issue. I appreciate your commitment to protecting our public lands and preserving the integrity of the programs that support them.

Important feedback for the commander and chief.
Dear Turd Pump, Just wanted to write you and say a quick Fuck You, you ugly, fat, racist, chauvinistic, pedoloving piece of human McDonald’s garbage. My nine-year-old son could literally do a better job than you if he had half a brain, one arm tied behind his back, and YouTube on in the background. You should host a Ted Talk called “How to spray tan away the gay” You know, for all the other bigoted friends you have still just sitting pretty in their little pedo closets of shame. We know that the only reason you think that people choose to be gay, is because you choose to be straight. It’s not like you’re smart enough to fool anyone except for your loyal Idiot-Bigot-Magots. I laughed so hard when you actually thought you were going to win a Nobel Peace Prize, your stupidity continues to astound and terrify us all. Does it keep you up at night that your dick is only 1/5th the size of Obama‘s? Not that you’ve probably seen it in years anyway. Melania definitely hasn’t.. at least without having to stifle a giggle. Because all you are is a joke. The world’s most embarrassing JOKE. I hope ICE kidnaps your wife, your family, your friends and your dog and deports them all to Venezuela with no due process, while you get thrown in jail for being the worst goddamn president in history. I hope your loud stupidity embarrasses you every day. My son says he hopes that from now on you shart on yourself whenever you meet a world leader, aka: Have the Day you Deserve! 💩 Sincerely, Your loyal constituent, Haha Go Fuck Yourself in the Ass you hateful turd nugget

Restore Union Rights for Department of Defense Employees Through the NDAA
I am writing as a constituent to urgently request your support for restoring full collective bargaining and union rights for Department of Defense (DoD) civilian employees through the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). For decades, collective bargaining has strengthened the federal workforce by improving morale, promoting safety, increasing efficiency, and protecting whistleblowers—without compromising national security. The restriction of these rights for DoD employees has weakened worker protections, reduced transparency, and damaged trust between employees and management, all while failing to improve national security or operational readiness. Union rights provide employees with a lawful, structured avenue to raise concerns about unsafe conditions, waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement. When these protections are stripped away, workers are silenced, problems go unreported, and accountability suffers. This ultimately harms not only employees but also taxpayers and national defense operations. DoD civilian workers play a critical role in maintaining military readiness, cybersecurity, logistics, engineering, healthcare, and support services. They deserve the same workplace protections afforded to other federal employees. Restoring these rights is not a partisan issue—it is a matter of fairness, workforce stability, and national integrity. I respectfully urge you to support and advocate for language in the NDAA that fully restores collective bargaining and union rights for Department of Defense civilian employees. Our national security is strongest when the dedicated civilians who support it are treated with dignity, protected by the law, and empowered to speak up without fear of retaliation. Thank you for your time and for your service to our district and our nation. I would appreciate knowing your position on this important issue.

End Citizens United
I am writing to urge you to support every legislative and constitutional effort to overturn Citizens United v. FEC. Like millions of Americans, I want my vote to matter as much as any billionaire’s donation, and I want my children and grandchildren to inherit a democracy where their voices cannot be purchased, muted, or overshadowed by corporate spending. Since the Citizens United decision, our elections have changed in ways that deeply damage democratic representation. According to the Brennan Center for Justice, dark-money groups spent over $1.9 billion in the 2024 federal election cycle — a record amount. This explosion of hidden, unaccountable money is not an expression of free speech; it is the systematic drowning out of voters’ voices. Unlimited corporate spending devalues the principle of one person, one vote. It forces legislators to pay attention to donors rather than constituents. And it stifles the ability of individual Americans — including the people you represent — to have meaningful influence in their own government. This is not a partisan concern. It’s an American concern. Pew Research Center reports that 72% of Americans, across parties, support limits on campaign spending by individuals and organizations. Republican, Democratic, and independent voters overwhelmingly agree: money has far too much influence in politics, and Citizens United must be addressed. Corporations are not people. They do not vote, serve our communities, or experience the consequences of political decisions. Yet Citizens United gives them political power far greater than that of the average citizen — including the constituents in your own district. The result is a government increasingly shaped by those who can afford to buy influence. This is not the democracy we were promised, and it is not the democracy future generations deserve. For these reasons, I respectfully ask you to take the following actions: 1. Support constitutional amendments such as the Citizens Over Corporations Amendment and H.J.Res.54, which reaffirm that constitutional rights belong to natural persons, not corporate entities. 2. Back legislation increasing transparency and closing dark-money loopholes. 3. Use your public platform to acknowledge the harm created by unlimited corporate political spending. 4. Work across the aisle, reflecting the overwhelming bipartisan desire among voters to restore fairness to our political system. Free and fair elections are not a Democratic value or a Republican value — they are an American value. Protecting the integrity of our elections is a responsibility that transcends party lines. I will be following your actions on this issue closely, and I hope you will choose to stand with the voters rather than the donors. Please commit publicly to supporting efforts to overturn Citizens United and to restore balance, honesty, and accountability to our elections. Thank you for your attention to this critical matter. Our democracy depends on leaders who are willing to defend it

Support SB1814 to Establish Binding Ethics Standards for Supreme Court
I urge you to support the Supreme Court Ethics, Recusal, and Transparency Act of 2025, SB1814, which would establish the first comprehensive ethics standards for the Supreme Court. Unlike every other federal judge, Supreme Court justices currently operate without binding ethics requirements, creating a significant accountability gap that undermines public confidence in our judicial system. SB1814 addresses this problem by requiring the Supreme Court to adopt a formal code of conduct within 180 days of enactment. The bill mandates disclosure of gifts, income, and reimbursements for both justices and their law clerks, ensuring the public can identify potential conflicts of interest. It strengthens existing recusal standards by requiring justices to disqualify themselves when lobbying contacts have occurred, when parties or their affiliates have contributed over one hundred thousand dollars, or when personal or familial financial interests are at stake. The legislation creates meaningful accountability through a five-judge investigation panel composed of randomly selected chief judges from each circuit. This panel has authority to review complaints, hold hearings, take sworn testimony, and issue subpoenas. Parties to Supreme Court proceedings would gain the right to file formal disqualification motions, providing a mechanism to challenge judicial impartiality that currently does not exist. Transparency provisions require public website publication of all ethics rules and disqualification instances. The bill also addresses the influence of undisclosed money by requiring amicus curiae filers to reveal contributors representing three percent or more of their revenue and any contributions exceeding one hundred thousand dollars. The Federal Judicial Center would conduct biennial compliance studies, with the first due 180 days after enactment, while the Administrative Office of the United States Courts would perform annual audits. These oversight mechanisms ensure the ethics standards have real enforcement behind them. Supreme Court justices should be held to the same ethical standards as every other federal judge. I ask you to support SB1814 to restore accountability and public trust in our highest court.

Restore Federal Nursing-Home Staffing Standards Now
I’m writing to urge you to take immediate action to reverse the recent HHS/CMS repeal of federal minimum staffing requirements in nursing homes and long-term care facilities. This rollback puts older adults and people with disabilities at serious, predictable risk. The previous staffing standards—requiring 24/7 RN coverage and baseline daily care hours—were grounded in decades of GAO research and supported by nonpartisan groups like AARP. Repealing them hands corporate operators a free pass to understaff facilities that already struggle to provide safe, humane care. We have seen what understaffing does. During COVID-19, more than 200,000 long-term-care residents and staff died, and the worst outcomes were consistently in the most understaffed facilities. After Hurricane Irma, twelve seniors died at the Hollywood Hills facility when too few staff were available to monitor distress. At the Life Care Center in Kirkland, understaffing left a single RN responsible for dozens of medically fragile residents, delaying emergency intervention and worsening an already deadly outbreak. State investigations across the country have repeatedly found that some corporate chains intentionally understaff to cut costs, leading to preventable infections, dehydration, injuries, and deaths. Removing federal minimum standards will only multiply these dangers. I’m asking you to: 1. Publicly oppose the repeal; 2. Support or co-sponsor legislation to reinstate and strengthen staffing standards; 3. Press HHS/CMS to restore enforceable protections; and 4. Support long-term-care workforce funding to help facilities meet safe staffing levels. This is a national elder-safety crisis. I am following your actions on this issue, and I request a written response explaining what steps you will take to protect residents from the consequences of this repeal. Thank you for your attention to this critical national matter. Your leadership is needed to protect our most vulnerable citizens at a time when they should not face any hardship due to lack of essential care.

Support Constitutional Amendment Limiting Presidential Pardon Power
I am writing to urge you to support the joint resolution proposed by Representatives Cohen, Johnson of Georgia, and Levin that would amend the Constitution to place necessary limitations on the presidential pardon power. This amendment addresses a critical vulnerability in our system of checks and balances that has become increasingly apparent. The proposed amendment would prohibit the President from pardoning themselves, their immediate family members, their relatives, paid presidential campaign employees, and anyone who committed offenses at the President's direction or in coordination with the President. It would also invalidate any pardon issued for a corrupt purpose and bar pardons for offenses motivated by the direct personal or financial interests of these protected individuals. These restrictions are essential to prevent the pardon power from becoming a tool for personal protection rather than an instrument of justice and mercy. The Founders could not have anticipated a scenario where the pardon power might be weaponized to shield a President's inner circle from accountability for crimes committed on their behalf or for their benefit. When pardons serve personal interests rather than the public good, they undermine the fundamental principle that no one is above the law. The amendment preserves the President's legitimate use of clemency while closing loopholes that enable corruption. It does not prevent pardons for deserving individuals who have no connection to the President's personal interests. Instead, it ensures that the pardon power cannot be used as a get-out-of-jail-free card for those in the President's orbit. This reform enjoys broad support because Americans across the political spectrum recognize that accountability must apply equally to everyone, regardless of their proximity to power. I urge you to vote in favor of this constitutional amendment in the Judiciary Committee and work toward its passage. Our democracy depends on maintaining clear boundaries around executive power, and this amendment provides exactly that protection.

Tell the truth - No more misinformation!
I am writing to demand—unequivocally—that Congress and the President insist every federal agency, including the CDC, adhere to one non-negotiable standard: publish factual, verifiable, transparent data. Nothing less is acceptable in a functioning democracy. The American people rely on government agencies for information that affects our health, safety, economy, and daily decisions. When any federal department releases unclear, incomplete, or misleading data, public trust erodes. Confusion spreads. Bad actors exploit the information vacuum. And the credibility of the United States government itself takes the hit. Congress has both the authority and the responsibility to ensure that taxpayer-funded agencies operate with scientific rigor, accuracy, and accountability. Data must be evidence-based—not politically shaped, not selectively edited, not spun for appearances. The truth is not optional, and it is certainly not something to be “managed.” I am demanding that Congress establish and enforce strict oversight mechanisms to guarantee: • Full transparency in methodology, data sources, and limitations. • Immediate correction of any errors or misleading statements. • Protection of scientific integrity from political influence at every stage. • Clear public communication that prioritizes accuracy over messaging convenience. The American public deserves a government that tells the truth—plainly, consistently, and without manipulation. Congress must act now to ensure that every federal agency meets this basic standard. Do your job. Demand factual data. Demand transparency. Demand accountability. The country is watching.

Overturn Ohio's Age Verification, Surveillance State-esc Laws.
I am writing to urge you to reconsider and overturn Ohio's age verification laws currently in place. While the stated intention behind these regulations is to protect minors online, they ultimately threaten the privacy and liberties of all citizens while failing to achieve their intended objectives. The implementation of stringent age verification measures poses a significant breach of personal privacy. In an age where data security is of utmost concern, mandating that individuals provide identifiable information to access online content creates an unnecessary risk. This process not only exposes sensitive data but may also lead to misuse by third parties, jeopardizing the safety of those we aim to protect. Moreover, these laws can impose barriers to information and resources essential for minors and vulnerable populations. By restricting access based on age verification, we could inadvertently prevent young people from finding critical support resources, particularly around issues like mental health, sexuality, and personal safety. It is essential to recognize the potential for overreach and discrimination inherent in these laws. The digital landscape is dynamic and diverse, and limiting access based on rigid age parameters can disproportionately impact marginalized communities. We must foster an environment where young individuals can explore vital topics without excessive scrutiny. Furthermore, the reliance on undefined mechanisms to enforce age verification means that content availability could fluctuate based on arbitrary decisions made by online platforms. This could lead to censorship and stifle the free exchange of ideas that is so vital in a democratic society. In light of these considerations, I respectfully urge you to act decisively against the consolidation of such intrusive regulations. Let us work towards solutions that enhance safety while respecting the privacy and rights of every individual.

Open immediate hearings into the legality of bombing Venezuelan boats
Please open immediate hearings into the legality of the operation of bombing Venezuelan boats and the broader campaign of lethal force the Trump Administration is conducting without proper authorization. Members of Congress have seen video of two individuals clinging to a destroyed vessel bombed(!) by our country, the United States. Admiral Frank “Mitch” Bradley has now admitted the survivors were not communicating with anyone, contradicting earlier justifications leaked to the press. Killing shipwrecked survivors is manifestly unlawful under the Geneva Conventions, the UCMJ, and maritime law. Meanwhile, the killing campaign continues with more strikes, bringing the total to 22. All without any congressional involvement, much less its approval. Disturbingly, The Independent reports that Pete Hegseth pushed out Admiral Holsey after he raised concerns. Rep. Turner and Sen. Paul have also warned that these attacks appear to be laying the groundwork for military action in Venezuela, about which Congress has received no lawful notification under the War Powers Resolution. Congress must now: 1. Obtain and fully release the full September 2 video. 2. Hold immediate hearings on legality and oversight. 3. Suspend or remove anyone responsible for unlawful killings. 4 Prevent ANY unauthorized expansion of hostilities, including toward Venezuela. This is urgent. Please act now.

Oppose Online Age Verification/Surveillance State Laws
I am writing to express my strong opposition to the proposed Online Child Safety bills currently under consideration in Congress. While the intention behind these bills, such as the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) and COPPA 2.0, appears to be the protection of children, I believe they ultimately risk creating a surveillance state that fails to address the complexities of this critical issue. Firstly, these bills introduce significant privacy breaches that compromise the very freedoms and rights we seek to uphold. By mandating extensive data collection and monitoring of minors’ online activities, these measures can lead to an environment where not only children’s privacy is invaded but also where parental oversight becomes excessive, overshadowing children's agency. Secondly, the language in these bills can be interpreted in ways that allow for censorship and the chilling of free expression. While claiming to protect children from harmful content, these bills may unintentionally target and suppress valuable resources for marginalized communities, including LGBTQ+ youth, and discussions surrounding issues such as race, gender, and mental health. The ambiguity in defining “harmful content” opens the door for broad interpretations that could end up silencing voices that need to be heard. Furthermore, the reliance on technology giants to regulate content raises concerns about accountability. We cannot entrust our children's safety to platforms that profit from their data while enforcing vague guidelines that may not prioritize their well-being. This shift effectively places the responsibility of safeguarding our children into the hands of entities primarily driven by profit. In conclusion, I urge you to oppose these bills. They do not genuinely protect our children; rather, they pave the way toward a society marked by increased surveillance and diminished freedoms. It is crucial that we seek comprehensive solutions that prioritize both the safety and privacy of our children without sacrificing fundamental rights. Thank you for considering the potential implications of these bills. I hope you will stand against them for the well-being of our children and the preservation of our democratic values.

Dehumanizing Talk & Lies About Easily-Accessible Data
On December 2, 2025, President Trump held a cabinet meeting. Below is the transcript of about the last two minutes. I want you to read it in full and reconcile in your heart how you can support the most powerful man in the world speaking this way about human beings who bear the image of God. “Somalians ripped off [Minnesota] for billions of dollars, billions. Every year, billions of dollars and they contribute nothing. The welfare is like 88 percent. They contribute nothing. I don’t want them in our country, I'll be honest with you, OK? Somebody would say, oh, that's not politically correct. I don't care. I don't want them in our country. Their country is no good for a reason. Their country stinks and we don't want them in our country. I can say that about other countries too. I can say it about other countries too. We don't want them — the hell — we have to rebuild our country. You know, our country is at a tipping point. We could go bad; we're at a tipping point. I don't know if people mind me saying that, but I'm saying it. We could go one way or the other and we're going to go the wrong way if we keep taking in garbage into our country. [Representative] Ilhan Omar [D-MN-5] is garbage, she's garbage. Her friends are garbage. These aren't people that work. These aren't people that say let's go, come on, let's make this place great. These are people that do nothing but complain. They complain, and from where they came from, they've got nothing. You know, if they came from Paradise and they said this isn't Paradise. But when they come from hell and they complain and do nothing but bitch we don't want them in our country. Let them go back to where they came from and fix it” (Transcript obtained from https://rollcall.com/factbase/trump/transcript/donald-trump-remarks-cabinet-meeting-december-2-2025/, 2:15:50 through the end, last accessed 12/05/2025). The Christian faith you profess to hold is enough to tell you that you cannot support this. The easily-available information that shows he flat-out lied about this vulnerable people group is in The Minnesota State Demographic Center’s 2023 (the most recent) report: “The Economic Status of Minnesotans” (https://mn.gov/admin/assets/Economic%20Status%20of%20Minnesotans%202023_tcm36-569572.pdf). Somali people make up about 1.4% of Minnesota’s population, numbering around 76K people (pg. 8), 57% of which are foreign-born (pg. 14). The majority of Somalis in Minnesota — 75% of people from ages 16 to 64 — participate in the labor force (pg. 30). The 25% not in the labor force include, though are not limited to, those who are full-time students, caregivers of young children of elderly family members, or disabled (pg. 30). As a member of Congress, you are obligated to speak up both for the humane treatment of people and for truth; this obligation compels you to speak to it against this racist tirade.
