Ringo Nominated Comic Book Letterer | Somna (Eisner winner) + DC Pride + Young Men in Love (GLAAD Award winners) + Killer Queens + Alan Scott: GL (Eisner nom) + Harley Quinn + Absolute Green Lantern + Blue Beetle + Superboy + indie books 🏳️‍🌈 He/him.
I am thankful for all the amazing indie project I've had the chance to letter. Like Young Men in Love v1, winner of a GLAAD Media Award in 2022. Here's four stacks from some of the lovely short stories it carries.

Today's stacks from Alan Scott: Green Lantern #2 & #3 (probably one of my favorite single issues I've ever lettered). By T. Sheridan, C. Tormey & M. Herms.

Check out the density of these pages! I feel like the stacks are akin to sports heat maps, in showing what parts of a page are more used.

In honor of having just finished the last issue of Orla!, here's the lettering stack of #1!

And remember, #4 is out this week! From the minds of @johnlees.bsky.social @sallycantirino.bsky.social @dearbhlala.bsky.social & myself, edited by Jon Moisan, published by @madcavestudios.com

Three indie #1s, three very different styles for these stacks!
They haven't been getting much track lately, but I'll keep posting them from time to time just bc.

Centre #1 - Wythe, Brayz, Sims
Howie the Hellhound #1 - Prestwidge, Trigo, Robins
Miracle Kingdom #1 - McCarthy, Molina, Ansori

Stacks for a very cool fantasy-scifi book I lettered YEARS ago: Twin Worlds. By R. Al-ashqar, J. Morales & B. Magnaye.

One of those books you can't believe don't get more praise!

Two weeks of posting lettering stacks!
Here's one with 30ish pages of Trick Pony, a graphic novel by G. Lockard & A. David.

It's wicked Wednesday, so here are the stacks for two horrifically spicy stories I lettered for the Boulet Brothers' curated Halloween issue of Heavy Metal a couple of years ago!

Two of my all-time fave drag queens wrote these stories: Ivye Oddly & Katya! <3

Since it's the book I'm lettering this afternoon, let's share some stacks from Absolute Green Lantern's first issues!

By A. Ewing & J. Lindsay, from DC Comics.

How about I share the same issue in English AND in Spanish? Only possible bc DC pioneered on publishing same-day bilingual versions thru the whole run latest run of Blue Beetle. Spot the minimal differences!

By J. Trujillo, A. Gutiérrez, W. Quintana & me.

In Argentina we do Pride during November, which started as a way to protect from our southern-hemisphere-July-cold some of the first marchers that were HIV+ back in the 90s.

Honoring that, here are some DC Pride lettering stacks for you! 🏳️‍🌈

Stacks of the most fun book you maybe never heard about: Taara of the Stars! Created entirely by talented Indian creators (plus an Argie myself), I would've LOVED this book as a kid. It has SO MANY fun gags per page that you keep finding new stuff each time you reread.

We're having our Marcha del Orgullo in my city today (yup, in Argentina we do Pride during November, which started as a way to protect from our southern-hemisphere-July-cold some of the first marchers that were HIV+ back in the 90s).

So here are some DC Pride lettering stacks for you! 🏳️‍🌈

Letterick stacks of today…Baby Barbarian and the Player's Throne! It's a 28-page adventure romper which I divided into two parts! Notice how the 1st one is heavier in text, while the second is all-out action full of SFXs!

BTW, the 3rd part of that book is coming > www.backerkit.com/c/projects/w...

In honor of #3 out today, I prepared some lettering stacks of Bullet's first installments! These are images created by placing only the lettering elements of the pages.
They're a dynamic way to show-off cool lettering bits, hope you like them!
November 12, 2025 at 9:56 PM
For today's stacks I'm bringing you the first installment of BULLET (each stack is 20pg of that book), IMO the most fun indie speedster book published ATM. Issue #3 is out today--you can check it at @altruistcomics.bsky.social

This is A-level stuff both story and artwise--hopefully lettering too!

As part of previous Baby Barbarian campaign, its writer @willgosline.bsky.social & Ryan Y created and designed a proof-of-concept for a metroidvania-style video game!
The idea was that the game would show the action that happened in the gutters.
Also, my lettering is featured...how cool is that?!
November 12, 2025 at 2:41 PM
Here come three more of these! All from short stories I lettered for the anthology Batman: Urban Legends (two starring Nightwing, and one the Batmobile), by multiple authors (including the legendary Michael Cho).
November 11, 2025 at 8:14 PM
Just one lettering stack today! A couple of pages of each chapter of the serialized story "The Axe" by J. Trohman, B. Posehn, S. Koblish, D. Fichera, published in Heavy Metal magazine a couple of years ago!
I did SO MANY SFXs for this one. <3

Two more lettering stacks! Both come from books written by D. Hazan: Death Drop #1, art by A. Moore (from Scout Comics), and Monomyth #1, with art by C. Lo Valvo and colors by M. Louisse.

I did some of my all time fave SFXs for both these series!
November 8, 2025 at 5:59 PM
Here are some more lettering stacks for you! These come from the first Killer Queens mini series, by D. Booher, C. Balboni & H. Saxon, from Dark Horse Comics
November 7, 2025 at 7:39 PM
Let's start with the first two stories I lettered for DC! Both were for DC Pride 2022, one for Batwoman and the other for Green Lantern Jo Mullein (who I'm also lettering currently at Absolute Green Lantern!).

They're a few pages each, so you can't see much clutter as you would in a 20+ pages book.
