Every time there’s some news about a D list comic character and I post “I LOVE THEM!” I probably get eye rolls lol. But like… I’m not kidding. Why else would I have three copies of Avengers 162, 1st appearance of Jocasta? Including a graded copy?! I can’t WAIT for her to appear in the MCU 😍

Let’s face it, Peter David was one of the best to ever do it. My favorites from him (She-Hulk and X-Factor) probably will barely garner a mention in the tributes paid. Which is amazing that he had THAT MUCH brilliant work to choose from 😔 Rest easy now PAD. Thank you for the brilliance while here💔

Point is… she works in the cosmic world. She’s powerful enough to go into universe spanning sagas, but also street level enough to be in a courtroom in Hell’s Kitchen opposite DD. She’s one of the FEW marvel characters who CAN ACTUALLY do it all.

Tried to grab a pic to illustrate the condition. Sometimes it’s hard. In the first photo you can see the water damage AS WELL as a large fold in the cover of issue 39. The lot was listed as all NM 😵💫
