Traditionally it's a stew made with black beans with spare pork meat cuts (like ears, tongue and tail) with rice and cassava flour. The version that you can often find nowadays is with more premium pork cuts (like bacon, ribs, sausage), rice, cassava flour, kale and orange slices on the side.

It was scrumptious, nothing like the perfect comfort food for a very cold and rainy evening 😊
