I did message her, not to talk about kissing her, but to gently warn her of his actions. I also tried to explain that my messages were performance art, not madness, though I doubt that clarified much. She read the message, but did not reply.

Most of my satire profile’s feed about Zohran Mamdani is racist, racist, and racist. This is a pleasant break of laughter.

On Halloween, people dress as witches and the possessed. But those were never the real monsters. The horror was, and still is, a room full of Christian men.

I found these stories of exorcisms by chance while researching something else, but they did not surprise me. They read like memory. Power always finds a body to bruise and men who reach for their heaven have always reached through women to touch it.
