This is worrying. While our NATO allies seem to be going on a spending spree, the UK seems to be carrying on with cuts (stealth cuts in this case).

Do you think it's odd that the RN are losing this capability, when other navies are keeping it?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's sceptical about these drone escorts ships.

I see the use for small uncrewed boats for harbour patrol and MCM, but any vessel with higher end sensors or weapons you'd want to keep crewed.
The only exception being a radar picket vessel.

Ah yes. I was thinking of the Light Utility requirement (Ford Ranger or Toyota LC) type vehicles.

There's several other classes of vehicles they're after and it's confusing; tactical, light protection (Hawkei/Foxhound), medium (Bushmaste class), heavy (Patria CAVs?)

What exactly is the C Vehicle fleet, hire?

It's too much vehicle for a light utility vehicle

Can't believe the BA still haven't selected replacements yet. Doesn't fill me with confidence!

Wow. Just wow. I didn't realise things were that bad 👎

It was visually stunning but a bit too silly, even for me 🚀

I was under the I impression that the BAE T26 was expected to win.

It's the account sharing. That's a huge problem. The original account holders need to be held to account.

Upgraded Mogami.
German shipbuilding hasn't exactly covered itself in glory lately! Shorter supply chain. Local partner. Faster build. More future proof?
Looks cool too (that's a big reason, not going to lie)
