We live in a dangerous world where Russian aggression has caused untold terror and horror throughout Ukraine. How do you propose we counter this?

Was never about money, was about sticking 2 fingers up to an establishment that was full throttle austerity & years of the papers telling us that Europe was stopping us from passing legislation & immigration from Europe. I had this argument so many times I'm like a veteran getting PTSD flashbacks

True, and there is already a lot of collaboration between countries in the EU and the UK (Tempest and Euro fighter as an example) so it is in the best interests of Europe to ensure the industrial base is solid!

I understand that, but the UK is a part of Europe and will be critical in its defence. Having it, allied with the experience and defence expertise it has, can only be a good thing

Will there be a mechanism to allow UK companies to access the EU re-armament fund to help ensure self sufficiency, even though the UK is not a member state of the EU any more?

There is a land war in Europe and our long time allies are backing the invading power. Defence spending needs to go up

I'm from the gaming era where I don't want to play against "people", I don't want to have to be connected to the internet whilst I play a game. I just want to be left alone and play the bloody game 😂

On one hand, as others have pointed out, peacekeepers need the consent of the belligerents to maintain peace. On the other hand, RUSSIA INVADED A SOVEREIGN COUNTRY AND IS COMMITTING WAR CRIMES.

I would rather we address the second point with a bit more urgency....

It's telling that in previous years I'd have watched the whole build up and been excited about everything but now it's just... Unsurprising and I'm totally non-plussed about the whole thing

There seems to be an addiction to drama caused by the previous administrations. People who previously made their living by reporting on WhatsApp plots and counter plots thinking it was Game of Thrones-esque can't handle the fact that politics is back to "normal" i.e. boring
