2025 Tour de France. 🍷🍷 / 5🍷. Best paired with Mas Peyre IGP Côtes Catalanes '1ères Soifs'. While this year’s Tour had moments of brilliance, it was, overall, a fairly straightforward vintage. This wine, with its bright, warm fruit, won’t overpower the palate—or the memory of Tours past.

2025 Critérium du Dauphiné 🍷🍷 / 5🍷. Best paired with Domaine Collotte Marsannay Rosé. While not a bad addition, it was fairly underwhelming in the end. If Pog is set to be the dominant force in this year’s Tour, we might be in for another lazy summer of rosé by the pool.

2025 Giro d’Italia. 🍷🍷🍷🍷 / 5🍷. Best paired with Paolo Scavino Barolo Bric del Fiasc. This Giro gave us a worthy winner in Simon Yates and delivered twists and turns that kept us guessing right to the end. All the best Giri should be paired with a single-vineyard Barolo from Castiglione di Falletto.

2025 Flèche Wallonne. 🍷 / 5🍷. Best paired with Lini "Labrusca" Lambrusco Emilia Bianco. As is often the case, Flèche was a bit of a damp squib—made even more so by the downpour. For this edition, we’re going with a simple but approachable Tuesday night Lambrusco.

2025 Tour of Flanders. 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷 / 5🍷. Best paired with Elio Altare Barolo Arborina. Hard not to imagine a race that would go great with this howling breakaway of a Barolo. Imagine you're Pog on the Kwaremont, dancing away with notes of cherry, plum, leather, and truffle.
