understandable, but if a game releases in a poor state and 1 or 2 years later it achieves or surpasses its potential, i am much more forgiving. right now i am curious to see if Monster Hunter Wilds will ever be fixed.

Cyberpunk 2077 was the 2nd buggiest release of its year (ask me what the buggiest was?) but still an audience wanted to see the game win through. Because jank and bugs don't make a game boring.

VtM: Bloodlines launched in a state that could permanently break your save. Still around, still great, still imperfect. Jank is playful and so are bugs. There are Stalker oldheads who refuse to mod because the bugs are so deeply ingrained into the experience.
