When facing a new physical manipulation problem, robots should think creatively and solve them in only a few attempts.

We make first steps towards this MacGyver robot in our work Causal-PIK. It enables smart exploration of the massive action space - sometimes faster than humans.

🔍 How can we build AI agents that reason about the physical world the way humans do (or better) ?

Excited to share Causal-PIK: Causality-based Physical Reasoning with a Physics-Informed Kernel, which will be presented next Thursday July 17th at ICML in Vancouver!

Fed up with the submission process to Robotics conferences these days? Need more space for all the nuance and results? Need more time for a rebuttal?

Consider submitting to Transactions on Robotics 💡

T-RO has a call out for a Special Collection on Foundation Models for Robotics.
T-RO is proud to announce the upcoming special collection, Foundation Models for Robotics. Submission window opens September 1.
