I've watched some over a few years but they've mostly been the longer series that take a while to get through/the ones that everyone has watched or heard of. There's definitely some good ones that I have not watched yet but it's just a matter of getting around to them and actually watching them.

By the time the anime's story is winding down, the mood I have ends up being "alright I'm ready for this to end" instead of "hey I'm actually enjoying this, I wanna see more". There are some that fall into the second category but yeah

One thing about these interactions is that I can see tangible benefit, since exposure can help ease prejudice or at least make them think twice about making that edgy joke next time. This may be wishful thinking on my part though.

On one hand, maybe not every edgy person is some raging bigot, but on the other hand you're interacting with someone who will joke with you in your face but will deny and insult your existence afterwards

Far be it from me to interact with these people but it is interesting to see people who just about have no business interacting with each other actively doing that.

I'm not gonna be the one to sit here and purity test since that annoys people for whatever reason but it does make me question who's decent and who isn't, as well as what's going on behind the scenes.

Then you'll see someone who is usually denigrated by those same edgy/bigoted interacting with said edgy/bigoted people in a neutral or even positive way.
