1 is my highest 'daily' hit, 2500 related to a very detailed political post.

2 is where AI scrapers started indexing my blog.

3 is the day after ChatGPT5 was released.

Too long for a single post. Why the democratic party is fighting with itself and cannot gain alignment.

The problem with the Democrats is that the party is two fragments. There is a level of establishment democrat that thinks they are simply 'the party not in power presently' and that the pendulum will swing back towards them. They need merely bide their time, gather their resources, keep judicious receipts and when it is their 'turn' they will undo the changes. But there is a different segment of the party that perceives one of its duties as the opposition is to stand against a fascist regime. They are the party which must decry atrocity, which must safeguard and protect those the regime is targeting, and most of all, must actually survive. These two fragments do not see eye to eye. The establishment thinks the radical is sensationalist. There has never been a whole government of fascism in America, democracy shall simply swing back towards equilibrium next time as it has always done historically each and every time. The two sides in balance tip back and forth. The radical side perceives correctly that there may never be another time. The goal of the fascist regime is to exterminate its opposition, legally or otherwise.

I just discovered Pinterest has a tuning system for turning off GenAI.

It has been SORELY needed, on turning all these off, I'd say about half of my feed is now just empty (funny enough they are fully gapped boxes), and some still trickles through, but it's SO MUCH BETTER.
