This is Mousie, the most amazing thing ever to grace this house. It is 5 years old and has been to hell and back, being mauled by 3 cats on a regular basis, in hiding at times, living who knows where. Currently it is given to me as a present every night with great excitement by JoJo. Impressive.

I had a really tough start to #Caturday. Mummy forgot that I was out and left me there for five hours. Enough for me to milk this to distraction, cuddling and mewling and looking pitiful. She deserves it, right?

We had a ginger female, too young to be reliably identified, and because we thought she was a he called her “Basil”. She didn’t seem to mind.

When I went to the shelter to adopt I asked for their most difficult case. I got a feral boy who, even though it took a year, turned into the most loving cat I ever had.
