You’d love this array of IKEA Broakulla wall decor. Dalek hemis for days!

Again? This psychedelic Jesus youth book follows me everywhere! I find a copy every time I thrift down South.

Freshly emerged Amanita jacksonii is allegedly edible, but I won’t be finding out. It’s like an arcade joystick.

The Olka hanger is Palaset’s best seller and has been manufactured for decades so, of course, The Container Store no longer carries it. In fact, US customers must order from Finland. I have done so.

This decal has waited a few years to ever get stuck on a window. Now if only we had the actual A-frame…

Room&Board has exceptional customer service, but the Bradford wing chair changed from button tufts to darts, and that design isn’t enough to hold curves in more rigid fabrics. Make sure you get chenille or bouclé if at all. They handled the return fine.

Another of Atlanta’s Moderne condos could be perfect in the right hands. I looked at a unit being auctioned, and it was at the intersection of original features and needing everything - a project for someone else.

Aha! Still no sponge refills, but it’s cheap. The sponge itself is biodegradable-ish.

Got to love Trail Tags - so much better than mere pins in a map app. These still need to be put on a bag or something (again).

Many would reject any house with a mansard roof. There are some uggos for sure, but don’t poo-poo them all. Fill them with Knoll furniture, and you’ll be fine. It’s a very specific slice of modernism.

These cello sponge glass cleaners aren’t too hard to find, but the sponge refills seem to have disappeared. I hate to buy the whole thing when cello is biodegradable unlike the handle.

Mountain laurel is not common this far south, but there are little pockets of old growth forest somehow in North Buckhead (Atlanta). A barred owl also made an afternoon appearance perched overhead before being scowled away by smaller birds.

Painting brick is wrong, but painting this fine stone veneer is a serious crime. Why would anybody do this?

Why do Christian puppets ALWAYS look like this? You could at least knock off some Muppets. Better still, make biblically accurate angels in fleece and felt.

If only we could pounce on this one. The elaborate shutters do it no favors, so how about simple roll shades and colorful concealing panels? Also, convert that dumb room back into a garage.

It’s highly disappointing that this doesn’t shoot the jelly beans.

Yes, I know. AI bad, so bad, but damn if it didn’t nail it here. I ain’t sharing the secret prompts neither.

Mid-century home details are adorable even when not modern. Hopefully none of this will be destroyed in the minor time capsule I visited Saturday.

I’ve watched this house for decades. It’s pretty modest, really, but still my dream.

I’m sure there’s no alternative use for these.

Pixel has come to “help” in the kitchen.

It’s only clickbait, but the “article” claims the mere act of popping on the stove is a trick. Turns out I’ve been performing other tricks such as boiling water for tea and scrambling eggs.

The problem with using a slider is that the end of the track can be seen in the shot. Just add an extender to lift the camera.

The problem with AI is that it creates the illusion that the user has talent. I advocate it as a tool for sketching a temporary band so long as you’re doing the writing. Just for fun, here’s a snippet of fake Morrissey. I didn’t even specify the vocal. The AI could detect the angst.
