What this means in your community is that there is less money to circulate in the local economy. Less money spent in local stores on food, gas, clothing, etc. The ultra rich are not spending their money here. More people lose their jobs= even less money locally. Downward spiral

So when does mainstream media start talking about all the Republicans "infighting?" They seem to always cover Dems infighting.

These are all benefits beyond the R&D and talent developed at higher ed institutions that have made the US so competitive. Not to mention work force training for applied trades through community colleges.

It's almost like they don't understand how Federal funds circulate in a local economy, creating jobs and then supporting small businesses as wages get spent locally.
