What is one thing you'd tell your younger self? For me it would be to run. Long story short my husband is a controlling and abusive narcissist who hid it all in the beginning. Now I'm trying to get out after 20 years of him and it's hard, made harder by the situation with my son.

My alarm is set for 4:15 am (though I'm usually up before that). Early morning is my favorite time because it's my own. I don't have to deal with my narcissistic spouse. I don't have to be the only one to help my son. I can just be and breathe without worry.
