Obsessed with the gorgeous true blue Chinese-forget-me-nots (Cynoglossum amabile) blooming en masse in my wildflower patch. I cut a bunch before our first hard freeze last night and they are cheering up my desk! #flowers

🌱 Not me out in my garden in 80F degree weather slathering on the sunscreen in Texas on December 30th pulling tons of blooming weeds (dandelions) before they loose their demon seed. Unfortunately lots of my spring wildflowers are already coming into full bloom- and 26F on its way. Of course. #garden

Rewatching #PrimeSuspect again, as I like to do every few years. It’s just brilliant, as is Helen Mirren. Plus, it’s so fun to see all the now heavy-hitter actors that show up, particularly in series/season 3, which I’m in right now. If you’ve never watched it before you’re in for a treat. #BBCOne

🌱 It’s so warm here in Dallas, TX still haven’t had a frost…the cosmos, iris, salvias, roses, etc. are all still in bloom. Figs on the trees. I can usually plant vernalized tulip bulbs the 3rd week of Dec. for cool-enough soil temps. Not sure we’re even going to get there this year! OY. #gardening

☕️ Full circle #coffee evolution…after a lifetime of using every incarnation of coffee maker, and not wanting to spend a ridiculous amount of $ again, I have reverted to the old school percolator. Love it!
