One of the things that helped me through the traumatic
1,2,3 degrees burns on my torso in late Sept was color by number.My own creative juices & artistic mojo were completely fried (not being flip, no pun intended).I needed something creative but not mentally taxing. Voila.Good try, this is hard!

I'm an artist. Ideation from my mind. I use brushes and real paint and a finished canvas that's all me. I despise digital art. It's just part of the move to destroy humanity with AI. Sketch and then give the brush to a robot. Pick a color and then sit back and take credit. More on AI soon.

9/15/25 I was burned,2nd & 3rd degree by a boiling pot of homemade soup pouring down my chest & stomach. Intolerable pain. I dressed them twice a day for 10 days & once until today. Will be scaring. I needed something to divert my attention so👇 How it began, how it ended. Touchup needed. Very hard

I bought this painting for a diversion from the trauma of the burns on my chest and stomach and to perhaps rejuvenate my painting creativity and mojo. It is hard. So much more to go. But it's a start.

I've started a very difficult paint by number for two reasons.Since the trump nightmare my creative mind is on holiday & my painting mojo has vanished.Also because of my burns I'm confined to my home in order to keep them as sterile as possible.So inspiration & distraction is my goal. Now & future.

In eight months America has gone from a fairly stable and functioning democratic country trusted around the globe to a chaotic facist violent regime waging war on her own people and mistrusted and shunned by countries around the world.

In honor of the first day of fall my mantle is decorated as is my dining table centerpiece. I'm not a yellow, orange, red fan. Subtle is my style. The centerpiece is just random fall stems from giant tub of silk flowers. I like it.

Henry Wallace, VP under FDR, began as a Republican but changed parties because of tariffs affecting agricultural policies. Not a perfect politician, he stood up for his beliefs clashing with FDR and later Truman. But he understood facism and uncannily predicted a trump.
