I am so grateful and inspired by the turnout in our red red state.

I'm giving this some thought today. As a woman, it has frequently been unsafe for me to be intelligent. I have been harassed and bullied for 'acting' smarter than... whoever I pissed off. And tho it's mostly men, I have had women bully me as well.
Today's public climate feels unsafe. Again. Still.😡

I really would like to know how the color of a person's skin means no due process. They say they have warrants for lawbreakers but never produce them.
Talk about a third world shithole.
I support the words and intent of the Constitution, and the amendments made with the consent of the governed.

This has been on my mind for quite a while. Allowing churches to endorse candidates or policies is dangerous. Because many people see church leaders as authority figures who should be listened to and obeyed, including issues that they may feel otherwise about. 1/2

I mentioned protests today and a relative told me they haven't voted since Hillary ran and 'don't pay attention to politics' because they all are corrupt liars. This was someone who was emphatically against the current leader of the regime the last time we discussed it.

This is an easy read and has a lot of well thought out points on how to fight authoritarianism. Highly recommend.
