Agree. I used to respect Rory and his generally nuanced take on politics, but there've been revelations lately showing a less appealing 'character'. Following his dismissive comments after noting his host's appalled look, he defensively berated her for not 'staying current'. Very disturbing.

It's worth listening to then. Saying for 'everyone to move on' as the SA's happened years ago was a pretty clear message, and not for him to determine. He tried to deflect it to more 'current issues' with the ridiculous assumption that it ISN'T current for some of the victims.

He literally said it was ages ago and to 'let bygones'. It turned my stomach and he did take a lot of flak for it, none of which he addressed. I know he tutored the boys (Will and Harry) but this was beyond the pale. It's not up to him to 'let bygones', it's up to the victims.

It's getting worse; from exonerating Andrew to now this - defending someone who I believe had an indirect effect on the killing of Jo Cox. It's the 'boiled frog' analogy, he's slowing turning up the dial, and I for one have stopped listening to their podcast because of it.

Rory's lost the plot lately. From casually dismissing Andrew's actions and associations to this. Either that, or his true colours are coming to light.
