In addition to these examples given by Dr. Udell, reconstructive surgery for breast cancer patients is another legally protected form of gender-affirming care.

One of the most disturbing stories I’ve read, and I think a good example of malignant narcissism in action. Kudos to @davidmcswane.bsky.social for depthful reporting. What is the Montana Board of Medical Examiners doing? So far they report “no adverse information concerning this licensee.”

Our task, after Do No Harm, is to gain an inner appreciation of the suffering and sorrow of our patient.
